Pre-Kindergarten Program

At The Learning Cottage Daycare, the Pre-Kindergarten program is for the ages 4 Years old to 5 Years old.

 

Children are encouraged to work and play in small groups as well as alone. Independence and a positive sense of self is fostered through mastering new skills, caring for our school environment, and mastering life skills.

 

Children are encouraged to persist at a task, follow two-step directions, clean up after themselves, cooperate as a group, and have fun.  The Pre-Kindergarten Program provides your child with foundational skills as guided by New York State for a successful transition into kindergarten.
